Last week saw us celebrate our 50s themed fun day here at Princess Christian Care Home and it certainly brought back some wonderful memories for our lovely residents – from homemade hairsprays to sneaking out to go dancing!
Obviously our super clever residents all did very well with our 1950s quiz and they enjoyed a photoshoot with props.
We welcomed the delightful Najwa to entertain us with different performances in each of our Units; she dressed up along with our Recreation and Well-Being team in 50s outfits – they looked fantastic!
Our Home even had a visit from the King, Elvis himself! The team did a great job entertaining everyone throughout the day, especially Elvis with his dance moves!
To finish off the day, our residents were served some tasty cakes to enjoy with fizzy pop.
