Butterflies
Over the past three weeks, our lovely residents at Princess Christian Care Home have been busy nurturing our caterpillars and were all so excited when our butterflies finally emerged!
Everybody has found it so exciting to follow this incredible nature journey and all agreed our butterflies were very beautiful.
They were released in our garden this week by our residents and it brought such joy to our Home that we have ordered two more batches of caterpillars!
Even our lazy cat Totty showed a lot of interest in them (but couldn’t catch them, luckily!).
Sing along
Last week we had a jolly good sing-song and enjoyed some dancing with our lovely residents and staff.
We got out our ‘jolly trolley‘ and our residents chose the songs they wanted to sing; they were word perfect and our staff had great fun learning new songs and dancing with tambourines.
Pampering
Maria, our lovely treatments specialist, also visited rooms last week, making our residents’ nails look beautiful. As you can see our lovely Gwen was very pleased!
