On Thursday 10 June we celebrated Carers Week here at Princess Christian Care Home and what fun we had!
We had the lovely Najwa to entertain us with song requests and karaoke fun with staff and residents, including some impressive dance offs!
Our residents and staff all enjoyed singing their hearts out, especially our Recreation and Well-Being team who, as usual, went above and beyond to entertain. The highlight of the day was Manager Mario’s dance moves!
Mario kindly provided all staff with a KFC lunch, plus they were presented with an amazing cake decorated with the words ‘Proud to be a Carer’, made by our talented Head Chef Cosmin which was enjoyed by all.
Our staff were given envelope gifts from Mario who thanked everyone for their hard work. Certificates of achievement were also handed out to staff who had finished their training courses.
To round off the day we had a special visit from our local ice cream man and van; everyone cooled off with ice cream or lollies, much to everyone’s delight.
