We had an amazing celebration of France here at Princess Christian Care Home on Wednesday 9 June, as we continued on our Nellsar Cruise.
We welcomed the delightful performer Najwa, who sang for us throughout the day.
Our residents had great fun wearing berets and string onions and our marquee was turned into our very own French café named ‘Cafe Nellsar’. Our tables were covered with chequered cloths and bows and we decorated with French bunting and flags.
We even had our very own café menu. Croissants and chocolate pastries were washed down with coffee or juices and in the afternoon we had a trolley full of French cheeses, grapes and French bread, plus French red and white wine.
Our lovely Recreation and Well-Being Manager Viv helped serve these delights to our residents and entertained everyone along with Christine with her dancing skills! Fantastique!
All our residents had such a great time and we can’t wait to get to our next port of call in the Caribbean!
