On Friday 30 April, Christine and Carol from our Recreation and Well-Being Team at Princess Christian Care Home visited our dear resident Graham in our Knaphill Unit with a surprise bottle of his favourite red wine that he hasn’t tasted for over a year!
We always love surprising our residents with treats that they like, so our Resident Liaison Officer Joel asked our Catering Team if they could source a bottle of ‘A Mob of Emus‘ which is a Cabernet Merlot much enjoyed by Graham in the past.
Christine and Carol presented Graham with his bottle – and what a happy man he was!
He enjoyed a glass, along with his daughter and son-in-law. Cheers Graham!
We’ve also put up our new greenhouse in our Pirbright courtyard, with all our pots of seedlings inside that our residents have planted. We are looking forward to seeing them thrive.
