On Friday 17 September we hosted another of our popular ‘Cooking with Cosmin’ sessions at Princess Christian Care Home.
Our trainee Chefs were Toni, Harold, John and Margaret, accompanied by Chef Assistants Olivia and Sian from our Recreation and Well-Being Team and this time it was shortbread on the menu.
We now have a plasma screen in our Cookery Club room which we can use to play baking and cooking videos, which are both helpful and entertaining!
Our class was a great success, with our residents mixing and shaping their shortbread, which we baked and served – delicious!

“I’m planning in future, before one of our classes, to hold a kitchen tour with our residents, so they are able to see where we cook food at Princess Christian and see how big our kitchen is.“
