Our Caribbean Day at Princess Christian Care Home was amazing!
The sun was shining and our residents enjoyed our wonderful singer Najwa who entertained everyone – first in our Bisley Unit in the morning, where we had residents singing along and having a dance with her, which was so lovely to see. They all wore their flower garlands and there was so many smiley faces.
In the afternoon we had a party in our garden with our Recreation and Well-Being Team who worked hard with all the decorations and Caribbean trolleys filled with fruit kebabs and fruit cocktails, as well as an array of mango, pineapple and tropical juice delights.
Manager Mario joined us for a ‘dance off‘ with our resident Barry, wearing some very funky glasses!
All our residents had an amazing time and didn’t want it to end!
We’re all looking forward to our final cruise stop in good old Blighty.
