We celebrated our lovely Dining Room Assistant Daloney’s 60th birthday on Thursday 5 May here at Princess Christian Care Home.
Daloney joined Princess Christian in August 2014 as a Healthcare Assistant, then in 2016 she joined our Catering department as Dining Room Assistant.
She is so good with our residents and is constantly striving to ensure she can meet all their needs and maintain happy and safe mealtimes for everyone. She goes above and beyond her responsibilities for our residents by doing shopping for them, hairdressing and so many other things to support them.
She is a valuable and hardworking team member, always thoughtful with colleagues’ special celebrations – from birthdays and baby showers, to retirement parties and farewell ceremonies – making collections, buying cards, flowers and gifts, all in her spare time or day off.
Victoria sponge cake is Daloney’s favourite and our Chef Cosmin created a magnificent birthday cake for her, decorated with pink macaroons, chocolate, a pink rose and fresh strawberries and raspberries – delicious!
Many happy returns Daloney – we hope you went back for seconds and thirds!
