A day of musical entertainment
On Tuesday 15 August we had a full day of entertainment here at Princess Christian Care Home. A Woking Dance company called Doorstep Duet gave us a taste of the show that they’re currently taking on tour to local venues.
Doorstep Duet showed us some of their dance moves from the 1920s, 40s, 60s and 80s, and then they held a short Q&A with our residents. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and were so surprised by all the dance steps that they knew!
Then in the afternoon we had our amazing Najwa come and sing for us all; she put on an amazing performance and got everyone involved, including some of the staff singing Karaoke!
It was a very busy day but worth it, to see the smiles on our residents’ faces.
