We were extremely proud that our Head Chef at Princess Christian Care Home, Cosmin Cristea, was one of 11 Nellsar staff named as finalists in the prestigious Great British Care Awards 2022, shortlisted in the ‘Care Home Chef/Cook Award’ category.
Seeking to shine a light on the care industry, the awards comprise a series of regional events throughout the UK that celebrate excellence across the sector.
Along with a team of colleagues, Cosmin attended the award’s gala dinner at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton on Friday 18 November, where achievements were shared over a wonderful meal, whilst the awards proceedings were hosted by TV personality James Argent.
Although Cosmin was hoping to bring home an award with his very strong entry, it was not to be on the night. However, we must congratulate him for his incredible achievements again. He represented Princess Christian and Nellsar wonderfully on the night and we are very proud of him!
