On Thursday 18 April we were excited to have our Easter party for residents and their families here at Princess Christian Care Home.
We held an amazing easter egg hunt for our visiting children, who were escorted into our garden by an energetic monkey and elephant, much to their delight! All of the little ones were very happy to have their bags filled with chocolate eggs and it was wonderful to see all their smiles. The monkey also entertained our residents with dancing and lots of hugs!
As usual, our amazing catering team laid on a scrumptious buffet which went down a treat with everyone. We were treated to delicious sandwiches, satay chicken, wraps, goujons and prawns, not to mention a mouth-watering table of desserts including doughnuts, chocolate gateaus and fruit tarts.
We had our wonderful singer Najwa performing for us during the party and our raffle was very popular, with lots of great prizes – from fruit hampers to bottles of pink gin!
Our residents had been very busy making easter bonnets which they wore with pride. We couldn’t decide on a winner as they were all so good, so everyone got a prize!
What a brilliant party! Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a memorable day.
