Princess Christian Care Home make local collections for the Alzheimer’s Society

“Thank you for your donations Camberley!”

As part of Princess Christian Care Home’s huge fundraising drive for World Alzheimer’s Month this September, they gained a license to collect donations in the nearby town of Camberley, Surrey on Saturday 8 September.

Members of staff took time out of their day to stand in The Mall raising awareness of the disease and collecting donations to go towards the total set target of £5,000.

Home Manager Mario Taherian said; “It was a very good day for Princess Christian – we met so many wonderful people who have experienced Dementia within their family.”

All of the collected funds will be handed over to the Alzheimer’s Society (Surrey region) on Friday 21 September by Cllr. Dan Adams, the honourable Mayor of Surrey Heath and our chief guest for the event.

We will be in Woking on Saturday 15 September – if you see us, please come over for a chat.
