During our Cooking club last week at Princess Christian Care Home, we came together to construct some mouth watering chocolate and vanilla cream cones.
Our resident ‘Chefs in training’ were Desmond, Brian, Bruce and Ameneh who expertly wrapped strips of pastry around metal cones to form the familiar shape.
Ably assisted by Carol and Olivia from our Recreation and Well-Being Team, the group made a tray of cones which were lightly baked to make them delightfully crisp and filled with chocolate and vanilla cream.
They looked fantastic and tasted heavenly! Well done everyone!
Starting from our next Cooking club session, all our resident participants will receive a certificate and badge at the end of the class.
