On Tuesday 10 May we celebrated our VE Day here at Princess Christian Care Home.
The day started off with a photoshoot of our residents wearing uniforms, which were kindly lent to us by Hayley our Liaison Officer’s husband Tony.
Everyone looked so smart in the selection of hats and outfits.
We then served an amazing Union Jack sponge cake made for us by our talented Chef Cosmin. It was covered in cream and fresh raspberries and blueberries and looked magnificent! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their slice with a cup of tea.
Singer Natalia provided some wonderful entertainment as she sang for us all, and encouraged our residents to sing along to some old favourites.
