On Tuesday 1 February we had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year at Princess Christian Care Home.
Our Home looked bright and colourful decorated with Chinese dragons, orange tigers and an array of beautiful lanterns made by our amazing residents.
We learnt lots of interesting facts about China during our armchair travel and enjoyed a fun photoshoot with our residents, who had the chance to dress up in costumes. Our lovely Activity Team also dressed up….we even had a ninja warrior!
They handed out fortune cookies, which some of our residents had never had before but really enjoyed! Our team also visited everyone with a trolley full of Chinese delicacies – from duck spring rolls to seaweed, which everybody found very tasty.
We’re all looking forward to our next armchair travel destination!
