Three members of our Recreation and Well-Being Team at Princess Christian Care Home took part in the Alzheimer’s Society ‘Glow Walk’ on Friday 18 March, and raised £400!
‘Shining a light on Dementia‘ with a stroll along the historic Portsmouth seafront, they walked along the accessible 5km route.
Carol, Amber and Hayley said the atmosphere was amazing and Hayley also brought her Dutch Shepherd dog Rocket who sported his Alzheimer’s bandana and glow-stick collar!
They all enjoyed a Zumba warm-up, as well as an amazing choir and steel band en route, cheering everyone on!
Well done ladies (or ‘Team Misfits‘ as they called themselves!) – a fantastic amount raised for a very worthy cause!
