At Princess Christian Care Home we are committed not only to caring for our residents, but to supporting and involving their families too, as it’s important to us that they feel part of our Home.
On Sunday 14 February, Valentine’s Day, we picked six lucky residents’ family members (at random) and delivered them a box of six assorted chocolate brownies from Lola’s Cupcakes, together with a special Valentine’s card, signed by their loved one at Princess Christian.
The treats were hand delivered by our Resident Liaison Officer Joel and a taxi driver we hired for the day – both maintaining social distance guidelines.
Joel was delighted to be able to surprise the family members at their door and give them a special treat to celebrate the day. We are thrilled to be able to share Valentine’s Day in this way with some of our lovely families in our local community.
