Double birthdays
We’ve enjoyed two birthdays this week at Princess Christian Care Home.
Wilfred celebrated with staff and fellow residents in our Pirbright lounge, with everyone singing ‘Happy birthday‘ to him. He very much enjoyed his delicious cake!
Our lovely Margaret also celebrated her birthday in our Pirbright Unit. She received some lovely flowers and chocolates, and also enjoyed her scrumptious birthday cake.
Many happy returns to them both!
Remembering those we have lost
On Tuesday 23 March we remembered all our dear friends we have lost over this past year during the pandemic.
We wrote all their names on hearts that we attached to bio-gradable helium balloons which we released after our minute silence at midday.
It certainly felt very moving watching them head for the skies.
