Chinese New Year
We celebrated Chinese New Year last Friday at Princess Christian Care Home with a Chinese photoshoot, Chinese bingo and a trolley full of delicious snacks for our lovely residents to enjoy – from pancake rolls to seaweed, which was definitely a favourite!
A super time was had by all!
Craft hobbies
One of our lovely residents, Raymond, who has been with us a short while has been so pleased he can keep up his woodwork hobby here at our Home. Our maintenance man Bruce kindly took time out to sit with him and marvelled at Raymonds skill in making spoons. It is very important to our residents that they continue to do things that they enjoy.
Our ladies made some lovely craft patterns from wool in our Knit and Natter group and hung them around the unit for all to see.
We are always so impressed by our residents’ creativity.
