Our residents at Princess Christian Care Home really enjoy visits from our pet family and were delighted when they were visited by Banana the tortoise and Uggie the guinea pig this week.
Uggie loves to be brushed and you can tell when he is happy as he lets out little squeaks! Truffle, one of our rabbits, thinks she’s a dog. She has a beautiful long coat and needs to be brushed daily; there are always lots of residents eager to brush her. As you can see, our lovely resident Margaret got a thank you kiss from her after brushing her.
It is lovely to see how our residents interact with our pet family – smiles all round!
