We enjoyed a wonderful reminiscence afternoon here at Princess Christian Care Home on Thursday 20 July which was very much enjoyed by everyone who took part.
Our residents looked through objects from when they were growing up and many a story was told! Amongst the treasures were an old style tennis racket, vinyl records and WW2 helmets. Our lovely Mabel even tried on the gas mask to much laughter!
Our Manager Mario also brought out some old coins; our younger staff were surprised to see old currency and couldn’t believe we once had a half penny – how times change!
