Here at Princess Christian Care Home we’ve been working on making a memory garden, so we have a special area for residents’ families and friends to visit to remember special loved ones that are no longer with us.
Our Activities Team made trinkets for our dear residents who have passed over the last year; we had a hanging angel, love hearts, as well as their names with some forget-me-not flowers all hung on our beautiful acer tree.
Our Manager Mario and team also planted some gorgeous rose bushes to join the lovely water feature that our maintenance team set up for us. We hope to regularly add new plants and seating.
The garden is still a ‘work in progress‘, but we are delighted with how it’s taken shape and we know it will be appreciated by many.
