Our Head Chef Cosmin at Princess Christian Care Home spends most of his time in the kitchen with his team – always ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service.
He very closely monitors all the kitchen processes and makes sure that special requests and dietary needs are delivered to our Home’s high standards and residents’ expectations.
He has the opportunity to visit our residents, but has also recently been surprising them by inviting them into main kitchen for a unique experience. The residents are accompanied by Recreation and Well-Being Champion Olivia and health, safety and hygiene measures are in place.
Residents are happy to help prepare vegetables and assist in the entire process of preparing food, experiencing the positive atmosphere in the kitchen. They have the opportunity to understand what is happening behind-the-scenes and help Chefs by tasting food or giving advice from their experience.
They participate actively along with the Kitchen Staff – who really enjoy giving them their attention. Their contribution is very much appreciated.
