Here at Princess Christian Care Home, there was a lot of love floating around this Valentine’s Day, as well as chocolate hearts and a valentine photo shoot!
Last week, we were serenaded by Graham who got the residents up dancing and singing along, and we also had a visit from a monkey and an elephant who went around dishing out cuddles – much to the residents’ delight.
Our residents made chocolate shortbread hearts in the morning and they were delicious. As usual, all the residents enjoyed seeing our Pets as Therapy dog Skye, who is a beautiful white german shepherd and visits us weekly.
This week, we are off to a coffee concert at Guildford Cathedral to enjoy being serenaded by some very talented musicians – check back for news and pictures next week!
