To celebrate the 2020 Chinese New Year, our residents at Princess Christian Care Home have enjoyed making Chinese dragons and lanterns to decorate our Home; they look so bright and colourful around our communal areas.
Some of our residents also tried writing their names in Chinese – thanks to a translation app on our iPad! – and enjoyed some Chinese snacks and fortune cookies. A great day was had by all.
We’ve also welcomed singer Billy, whose medley of songs proved to be very popular with our ladies and gents, as always.
On Saturday, our lovely resident Christopher celebrated his birthday by having lunch with his family. Afterwards, they enjoyed a piece of the delicious birthday cake made for him by our talented catering team. Many happy returns Christopher!
