Last week, in celebration of National Pet Day, we displayed pictures of all our team members’ pets here at Princess Christian Care Home – and what a cute gallery it made!
We asked our residents to choose the pet they liked the most – we had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, as well as bearded dragons – and in the end we decided they were all winners!
In the afternoon, our team dressed up as an elephant, monkey, rabbit and caterpillar and we held animal races. Residents threw dice to see how many steps forward their favourite animal could move. Our elephant was first over the finish line….poor caterpillar didn’t get a look-in, but consoled herself taking pictures with our ladies and gents instead!
