On Monday 9 January we held our first Cooking Club of 2023 here at Princess Christian Care Home.
John, Ameneh, Joan, Bruce and Celia all enjoyed helping our Chef Cosmin prepare some delicious chocolate chip cookies – consisting of flour, melted butter, eggs and melted chocolate – mixing all the ingredients expertly!
The mixture was then rolled into balls and put in the oven to bake. The results were lovely and our residents all enjoyed them with their cup of tea in the afternoon.
Olivia and Carol supervised our enthusiastic ‘Chefs in training’ and everyone received a certificate at the end of the session.
