We hosted our wonderful Easter party on Thursday 28 March at Princess Christian Care Home and what a great time we had!
We invited our popular singer Johnny Quatro to entertain us, and our residents enjoyed singing and dancing the afternoon away. We had some very fancy footwork from our Activity Team, as well as Operations Manager Silvia who came to visit!
Afterwards, we tucked into a beautiful buffet prepared by our wonderful Catering Team, which included:
- A sandwich selection and platters of finger food
- Roast lamb with roasted potatoes and vegetables
- Macaroni cheese
- Vegetable quiche
- Cheese and biscuits
- Tiramisu
- Mango mousse
- Hot cross buns
- Mini croissants with Turkish delight
- Homemade biscuits and macarons made by Maria
Chef Cosmin was assisted by his fantastic catering events team – Ionela, Adelina, Dora and Olivia. Thank you to them all for making the food and service so superb.
As part of the fun, we held a raffle with lots of great prizes. Everyone had a super time surrounded by great music, food and friends.
On Easter Sunday our Activity Team dressed up as the Easter Bunny, with his friend Colin The Caterpillar, and visited all our lovely residents handing out chocolate treats. We had lots of smiley faces!
