Our Gardening Club is up and running at Princess Christian Care Home and our lovely residents have enjoyed taking part in planting and weeding.
It has been specially lovely to see Mick outside, as he was taken to hospital with coronavirus a few weeks back, but he has pulled through and was soon back cracking jokes with us!
As we are going through difficult times, we are having some fun here; as sunflowers make people smile, we are having a competition to plant sunflower seeds and there will be prizes to the unit that grows the best ones. So watch this space!
Birthday wishes to the King!
Our resident Barry (aka Elvis!) celebrated his birthday on Friday 15 May and our Catering Team made a delicious cake for him, enjoyed by all our residents in our Knaphill Unit. Barry also serenaded us with Elvis songs and even got up and gave us a dance!
