Pumpkin crafts and baking
Here at Princess Christian Care Home we have been having lots of spooky fun for Halloween.
Our residents painted some lovely pumpkins to decorate our Home; we couldn’t pick a winner so everyone received treats!
We also had a Halloween Cooking Club where our lovely ladies and gents made some scary treats. We had marshmallow ghosts and chocolate spiders as well as spooky cookies.
Everyone had a great time making these and enjoyed eating them even more!
Halloween party time!
On Tuesday 31 October we held our Halloween party here at Princess Christian.
The amazing Jonny Quatro (aka count Dracula) came in to entertain our residents and everyone had a fabulous time singing along and dancing too.
Our wonderful resident Carol was named ‘dancer of the day‘ and our lovely Barry was named ‘singer of the day‘. All involved had an amazing time and it was lovely to see families dressed up too.
We had an array of delicious Halloween treats on offer, from colourful muffins and bleeding doughnuts to spooky waffles and tasty samosas… not forgetting the scary sandwiches! Huge thanks to our amazing Kitchen Team.
