We had a fun filled day on Tuesday 8 September when we transformed Princess Christian Care Home into a Hawaiian paradise!
Our residents and staff all got involved with decorating our trollies and painting Hawaiian-themed scenery. Our residents wore flower garlands and tropical accessories and we had colourful table decorations too – pineapples and flamingos a go-go!
Our wonderful Head Chef Cosmin and his team turned pineapples into works of art and produced a delightful spread of delicious goodies to eat, including a wonderful upside down pineapple cake which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
This was followed by tasty fruit cocktails and smoothies and a ‘game of skittles with a difference’ using coconuts instead of balls which our residents found hilarious!
Next week we’ll be hosting a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party‘ out in our garden, so watch this space!
