Icon Day
Our Knaphill Unit at Princess Christian Care Home held their Icon Day on Thursday 11 June and a lot of fun was had by all!
They made homemade lemonade and had a cake stand full of tasty treats, which our staff also enjoyed – and some of them joined our photo shoot.
Our lovely Louis and Carol from our Recreation and Well-Being Team worked very hard making all the props and decorations; as our residents loved them so much we have left them up for everyone to enjoy!
Happy birthday to Pat
Our delightful resident Pat celebrated her birthday on Saturday 13 June and enjoyed a large birthday cake made by our amazing Kitchen Team and some wonderful presents from staff.
A friendly visitor
And to top off our lovely week, we had another visit from our friendly deer who comes and see us every day to graze in the field. It’s so good to be so close to nature and we all look forward to spotting him!
Olympics and Father’s Day
We are warming up with practice for our ‘Lockdown Olympics‘ next week, which we’re getting excited about, so watch this space!
Father’s Day will be fun-filled this weekend with pub games, Western films and old football matches to watch, and plenty of beer and snacks!
