As part of our Nellsar mini cruise to Mexico last week here at Princess Christian Care Home, we decided to have some Mexican-themed fun during our Cooking Club.
Our residents had a great time (in their sombreros!) making delicious Mexican tapas together which involved creating some amazing burritos with guacamole, grill chicken, red kidney beans, red onions, cheese and sauces. Plus some refreshing drinks and fresh pineapple.
Everyone loved making themselves the burritos whilst we played Mexican music to get us truly in the spirit!
Our Activities team decorated the room with Mexican flags and pictures, and everyone looked so colourful in their hats, including Chef Cosmin who couldn’t resist joining in the fun!
It was a great day!
