We enjoyed celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday 17 March with our residents at Princess Christian Care Home.
Our residents helped decorate our St Patrick’s trollies in our three Units and they certainly looked very grand! We loaded them up with Irish delights and went around handing out tasty treats which everyone really enjoyed.
We hosted an Irish Quiz and our residents proved to be very knowledgeable and and they were quite competitive!
We also held an Irish photo shoot and all had a good giggle at some of our pictures!
Our ladies and gents also enjoyed some Irish music, but most of all they loved watching Riverdance. Activities Manager Christine tried a few steps herself for our residents and had them in fits of laughter with her efforts – it’s not as easy as it looks!!
