On Friday 9 December, our Activities Team held a cooking session for our residents here at Princess Christian Care Home.
The group made pastry Christmas shapes together, filled with chocolate spread or jam filling.
First, they spread the chocolate or jam onto the pastry, then layered it with another piece of pastry on top. They then cut it into Christmas trees or other shapes such as a snowflakes, stars or ginger bread houses.
They all had a great time being creative and the finished baked pastries looked amazing and tasted delicious!
We all enjoyed making these festive treats!
