Singalong with Christmas hats
On Thursday 1 December we decided we would have a singalong to Christmas carols here at Princess Christian Care Home, to start getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.
We played musical instruments while we sang from the song sheets – great fun was had by all!
Snowman biscuits and Christmas trees
During the week we had an exercise session, consisting of a warmup with stretches, hand crunches, knee bends and boxing, finishing off with exercising balls, great for hand and eye coordination.
Our residents then had a go at making melted snowman biscuits, which (after a few attempts!) turned out well and were very tasty.
We also made a start on making our Home feel festive for Christmas – putting our trees up and making some of our very own decorations.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
