On Sunday 10 September, our enthusiastic team from Princess Christian Care Home made up of Christine, Carol, Abbi and Jordan travelled to sunny Windsor to take part in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk event taking place, dressed in their matching blue t-shirts and colourful Hawaiian skirts!
The team said the atmosphere was amazing and it was an eye-opener to see so many people walking for loved ones. They brought lots of cheer with their bright outfits and although it was very warm, they sang and danced their way around the 6.5 km course!
Our Activities Manager Christine commented, “It felt quite emotional crossing the finishing line all together, knowing that we have helped raise money for such a worthy cause.”
To date the team have raised a fantastic £440 and donations are still coming in.
A huge well done to them – such wonderful spirit to raise money for a very important charity.
