Last week we celebrated St David’s Day here at Princess Christian Care Home by making scrumptious Welsh cakes with our lovely residents.
They mixed and rolled the pastry, then using a variety of cutters they made different shaped cakes ready for baking. The delicious treats were enjoyed with afternoon tea and went down very nicely!
Our ladies and gents also made some wonderful daffodils during our Craft Club which we used to decorate our lounges – very bright and cheery.
We are all very much looking forward to starting up our Gardening Club again, now that spring is approaching.
