Right royal garden
On Thursday 14 July we started our gardening club here at Princess Christian Care Home.
The first thing on our agenda was to start designing our ‘Right Royal Garden’ for the Nellsar gardening competition.
Our Activities staff and residents came up with the idea of using a picnic basket, with cups, saucers and a teapot to create a garden afternoon tea, fit for the queen, which we love!
It looks so beautiful and we’re sure the Queen would approve!
Najwa visit
We were also treated to a lovely visit from one of our favourite singers, Najwa, last week.
Our residents enjoyed singing and dancing along to her wonderful repertoire of songs, as they sat outside making the most of such a lovely warm day.
We love seeing Najwa and hearing her sing!
