Happy Easter everyone!
Thanks to our amazing team at Princess Christian Care Home, residents and visitors enjoyed a stupendous buffet with Easter celebrations this weekend. The Kitchen Team, Activities Team and Adelina (Dining Assistant), Ionela (Senior Carer), Doina (Housekeeping) and Maria came together to prepare a delicious seasonal feast.
With live music and a raffle for entertainment, residents and guests enjoyed homemade sweet treats including cakecicles, mini panna cotta with jelly, caramel Easter cake, macarons and cupcakes. Other desserts on offer included cross buns, blueberry muffins, chocolate and biscuit roll, cinnamon and chocolate rolls, panettone cozonac, forest fruits tart and individual Easter biscuits.
Savoury dishes included grilled halloumi, a selection of sandwiches, halal meatballs, cheese meatballs, spring rolls, cheese and biscuits, chicken skewers, pork pies, cous cous and salad.
