Golden Hearted

On good Friday here at Princess Christian Care Home, we were delighted to receive a visit from a lovely lady called Kerry from a Facebook charity group called The Golden Hearted. Kerry and the group very kindly donated bags of scrummy eggs, hot cross buns and cakes – a very big thank you from us all.

Sweetness and light

Our activities team at Princess Christian decorated the sweet trolly and filled it up full of chocolate delights which we then delivered to all our residents.

We had the Easter bunny who was accompanied by her best buddies Nelly the Elephant and Mario the Monkey, who helped her spread the Easter cheer. Our residents loved meeting them and having their pictures taken.

We had a game of Easter skittles, as well as an Easter quiz, and enjoyed making felt bunnies to carry the eggs. A superb day was had by all; we are now busy preparing for our Spanish stopover – castanets and maracas at the ready!
