We celebrated Indian Independence Day on Tuesday 15 August here at Princess Christian Care Home, when our residents made tissue paper collages of the Indian flag, as well as some fantastic elephant masks.
In the morning, our Head Chef Cosmin brought out a delicious display of Indian tasters on our different Units for our residents to try – we had clean plates all round!
During the afternoon we held a photoshoot with residents trying out scarves and saris, whilst our Activity Team members dressed up and put on a show of Bollywood dancing, with some of our residents joining in.
What a fantastic day of celebrating!
