Last week we held our Cooking Club session at Princess Christian Care Home, with Eton mess on the menu!
A firm favourite of many, Eton mess combines fresh cream with meringue nests and fruits of the forest for a truly indulgent dessert.
Our enthusiastic Chefs in training for the activity were John, Wendy, Ameneh and John, with guidance from Head Chef Cosmin and help from Christine and Lucy from our Recreation and Well-Being Team.
It was a very successful class, with everyone enjoying creating their dreamy puddings with the yummy ingredients!
The Eton mess puddings we created were served at lunchtime as a dessert option for all our residents to enjoy. What a delightful treat!
All our participants received a certificate for taking part, as well as applause from everyone!
