Planting for spring
We’ve been busy bees here at Princess Christian Care Home, with some lovely creative activities looking ahead to the springtime.
Last week some of our residents painted their very own flowerpots for their rooms, using some gorgeous bright colours to get us all in a spring mood.
We then bought ‘Blooming bouquet‘ and ‘Super scented sweet pea‘ seeds which we enjoyed planting together.
We are really looking forward to seeing them grow.
Air hockey
We are always trying to come up with new ideas here at Princess Christian and recently Abi, our new Activities Team member, suggested the idea of making a tabletop air hockey game.
She used books as a barrier, cardboard boxes as the shooters and old CD discs to shoot across the table.
As you can see, our residents all had fun having a go!
