On Friday 28 January we celebrated with NAPA magazine’s ‘AABAsolutley Fabulous Party’ at Princess Christian Care Home, celebrating National Activity Providers and Professionals Week on Zoom with hundreds of other Care Homes across England.
Our residents helped staff decorate our conservatory with tinsel curtains, decorations and even a glitter ball ready for the party.
At 3pm the disco started and our lovely residents looked fabulous in their crazy wigs, tinsel hair and Beatles and ABBA costumes, even our Manager Mario donned a wig when he came for a boogie!
Our residents sang and boogied along and were all treated to fruity mocktails.
Mario thanked our Activity Team for their hard work and dedication, and each team member was presented with a certificate and bottle of wine.
What a fantastic event – roll on the next ABBA party!
