Here at Princess Christian Care Home we held our coronation party on Friday 5 May, and what fun we had!
We held fun photoshoots in the morning and enjoyed some royal bingo together.
In the afternoon we donned our coronation outfits and our residents proudly wore their homemade crowns. We welcomed the amazing performer Lindsey, who had everyone singing along as well as a few dancing, especially our Manager Mario!
Our bouncy castle was a big hit with our visiting children (as well as our Activity Team and Mario!) and we were delighted to have our local Mayor Saj Hussain join us to celebrate the day. After chatting to residents and their families, he joined us in singing the national anthem which was wonderful.
We then tucked into a wonderful coronation buffet prepared by our talented Chef Cristian and his team. There was a huge choice of pork pies, jam sandwiches and Victoria sandwich cakes, as well as other tasty snacks, all washed down with homemade lemonade and juices. Thank you to them for such a wonderful spread.
A super day was had by all!
