Our residents certainly felt the love on Sunday, when we celebrated Valentine’s Day here at Princess Christian Care Home.
Our team did a wonderful job of decorating around our Home and Michelle, one of our Senior Carers in our Knaphill Unit, very kindly donated colourful helium balloons for each of our residents, as well as a massive balloon arch for our Reception, and other displays around our Home.
Michelle came in on her day off and inflated all the balloons with the help of our Activity Team. It was so fantastic to see our Home so full of balloons and to see the delight on our residents’ faces. A huge thank you to Michelle for such a kind gesture and for being such a star!
As part of the day, we treated our residents to love songs, poems, chocolate hearts and delicious cakes, all washed down with wine.
Bisley Unit even had Olivia as a ‘Love Messenger‘, handing out treats and sharing the love with her love trolley, which was brilliant fun!
It was wonderful to make all our residents feel very loved.
